MRAMOR – MRAMORSKI POTOK ROADWAY COMPLETED

Within the support in the realization of the activities of agricultural producers in Palilula Municipality, president of the Municipality of Palilula Boban Dzunic with the Head of Administration for the agriculture and village development Sasa Stoiljkovic, visited Mramor village. In this settled place, the works on the construction in the length of 3, 000 meters of road are completed. The works are completed  thanks to the support of Ministry of agriculture, forestry and water supply and Administration for agriculture and village development of the village of Nis.

Farmers from Mramor and Mramorski potok will have now easier and faster way to their plowlands, since the works connected to the adaptation are three kilometers in this location. According to the words of Boban Dzunic, this is only one fourth of the roads that will be, to the end of October adapted in the village area of this municipality. In the beginning of this year, in Palilula area of some 13 kilometers village roads were adapted. 

In the territory of Palilula there are 15 villages that are abutting to narrow city part (Lalilnac, Krusce, Mramor, Mramorski Potok, Novo Selo, Cokot, Donje Medjurovo, Gornje Medjurovo, Bubanj Selo, Pasi Poljana, Donje Vlase, Gabrovac, Berbatovo, Vukmanovo, Suvi Do). Total agricultural area of Palilula is 7,395 ha. From that 6, 648 ha are arable surfaces and 747 ha are pastures.

There is a plan that up to the end of the October in the area will be adapted 35 kilometers of the road. Competent Ministry and City of Nis for these purposes provided 30 million RSD, said Sasa Stojiljkovic the head of the Administration for agriculture. In the first quartile of this year in Nis villages total of 20 km of village roads have been completed for which, from the Republic and City budget, was spent 22 million dinars. In Palilula Municipality with Strategic plan of development as one primary activity the Activity of reviving villages was stated and  in future it is expected that it shall be the basic of future development of Palilula Municipality and City of Nis.
